Special Application: Saip Low Pressure Dosing Machine for industrial baseboards' production.

Our customer produces floor coverings and coatings for the food industry. About 10 years ago, it launched a new product, an innovative baseboard which aimed at replacing the traditional products used in the industry.

Compared to traditional products, this kind of baseboard has got peculiar characteristics such as waterproofness, high resistance to mechanical stress, abrasion and common chemical agents; a high performances product that guarantees long lasting.

A special low pressure machine for the dosage of products addicted with fillers, model SAIP K40 FLOW, was chosen by the customer to implement this technology, where the accuracy of the dosage is a crucial factor.

Approximately, after 10 years the customer decided to buy a second Saip machine for the same application.

The current model, clearly improved with respect to the previous one, is always characterized by the high degree of accuracy of the flow rate and dosage; the accuracy is obtained thanks to a close-loop system of pump motors.

The machine is equipped with three polyol tanks, to be able to manufacture the product with three different colors. The mixture of the polyol, color and filler is made in the preparation tank. A polyol and calcium carbonate premixing system was also supplied: once the mix is made it automatically provides the feeding to the two dosing machines.
